Abilities:

• Wind/Spirit Magic - Wind has always been Yuno's home element, and this is later further augmented by partnership with Sylph, also known as 'Bell'.
• Star Magic -
• Flight Magic - One of the most basic of magics that any who know magic will typically learn, Yuno is skilled enough to ride his by perfectly balancing his feet upon the broom's surface--Though he has also long learned to simply fly through the use of the wind he can command at will.
• High Stamina - Having grown up in the church and backwater town of Hage on the Forsaken Zone of the Kingdom of Clover, and assisting with both chores and farming: Yuno has a higher stamina than one might expect.

Personality:

Incredibly blunt, and equally just as sincere. Yuno is sharp-tongued and isn't without a snarky comment the moment Asta runs his mouth off. To those he doesn't know well or care for very much, he doesn't spare time, but for those who are under his command or those he calls friends: He is willing to go above and beyond what is asked of him for their sake. Overall, he is aloof and has over time outgrown his youthful arrogance as well as impolite speech, having very much come into his role as the current second-in-command of Golden Dawn. Due to his overall quiet nature, it is very easy to mistake his intentions or thoughts as he does not always communicate when he should.

As put by Langris, in the face of losing: Yuno can be a lethally poor loser, and as stated by the man himself: He would rather die than lose.

Background:

Having arrived at the church in Hage as an infant at the same time as Asta with nothing but clothing that read his name as well as a pendant that he continues to treasure to this day: The two grew up side by side. Yuno was initially quite a crybaby and incredibly timid, often showing moments of indecision until the day that Asta saved him from a man who had proceeded to beat him relentlessly after stealing his pendant. After witnessing the selflessness of his childhood friend as well as the resolve despite the overwhelming odds against him on top of hearing the reasons for his dream to be Wizard King, Yuno no longer cried or shied away from challenges.
